The story starts out like so many of the cars we buy with no intent of creating a major project,
And what was sold to me as a driver that I bought in Nevada, turned out to be a piece of shit....

I am finally trying to update the web site with documentation of My Camaro build including photos of the progress, and a photo gallery you will be able to join so all of you  fellow Camaro lovers  can upload pictures of your cars and share your progress as well. I  also got around  to opening the official ProStreet Camaro.com forums. Give the BowTie above a click & check it out!

After many years of spankin it, I finally decided to start the documentation of building my 67 Prostreet Yenko Camaro. When I bought this car, it was supposed to be a driver... all done, but like many when I
got it home and had a better look, I knew it was another long term project I didn't have the time for.
The first sign of trouble was noticing the was subframe bent and the left front corner was an inch lower than the rest of the car, and wasn't welded or connected to the backhalf as it should have been. Then, when I started removing the front sheet metal I noticed the fender bolt nuts were turning inside the cowl, the radiator support had been patched from the big accident and wasn't square, the firewall had been subjected to a sledge hammer fest to make room for something, and the floorpan was actually quilted
with several layers of funky patches and shit you could not believe. So, what was going to be a driver turned into a full blown start over and do it right project. There is no way I could show the car and have my name associated with the air hatchet patches and the pigeon shit welds... but it will be well worth it soon. So far between all the other shit I have going on, it's been 4 years apart, but will hopefully be done this spring or early summer. Here is a temporary picture to keep up the interest..... enjoy
